Our Mission
The Accede Mold & Tool mission is to apply this quality policy in forming strategic
partnerships with our customers. We accomplish this by integrating the skills,
experience, and technical capability of our employees and management staff with the
needs of our
customers.
Training
For many years, Accede has realized that our future – and our ability to meet
customers' needs –
depends on having the "best of the best" people.
In 1993 we
established our own unique training program for future mold makers, machinists and
designers.
Our training program includes a complete range of equipment as well as a full time
instructor Accede's apprenticeship is six years – two years more than the industry
standard. Our engineering
apprentices also must spend time in our manufacturing
training program to give them a hands-on understanding of shop floor operations.
Company History
In November of 1981, Accede Mold & Tool Co., Inc. started in a 4500 sq. ft. shop in
Webster, NY with two employees. In the years that followed, the business expanded
into the current world class facility
which
is located on the Northwest side of
Rochester. Accede’s Quality Management System has been registered to ISO-9000
since 1997, and in 2003 was upgraded to ISO
9001:2000. Quality and customer
satisfaction have always been primary
objectives. This quality focus, along with
highly skilled and knowledgeable employees utilizing modern equipment has been the
key to our growth.
Community
Accede recycles all used ink and toner cartridges through Imagine It and donates the
proceeds to the Ronald
McDonald House.
Each Christmas, the employees at Accede collects toys and donates them to the
Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
