Accede Mold & Tool operates a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 for the following scope of certification: Design, development and manufacturing of customer plastic injection molds and mold components, including recommendations for mold operation, first-run sampling, manufacturing of plastic injection molded parts and system integration management services.
SAI Global issued the certificate of registration on June 19, 2018 consequent of their in-depth four-day on-site transition audit earlier in the month. No non-conformances were identified. Positive aspects noted by the auditor included:
- All employees interviewed were knowledgeable and understood how their work impacted commitment to the Quality Policy.
- Production area demonstrated excellent housekeeping. Work stations, complete with monitors for access to email and drawings [models]. New press for the molding area and refurbished grinders were all excellent improvements.
- Congratulations on meeting your Quality Objectives for last fiscal year.
- Paulson Room (training software for plastic injection molding) was most impressive, with ability to monitor completion rate of 40hrs/employee.
