FAMILY-OWNED AND GLOBALLY RENOWNED U.S. MOLD MAKER JOINS SPE PREFERRED PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

Privately held and family owned mold maker, Accede Mold & Tool Co., Inc., proudly announces its preferred partnership with the Society of Plastics Engineers, the international organization dedicated to the advancement of knowledge and education for all plastics professionals. ACCEDE’s team of 66 includes design and manufacturing engineers, project managers, mold makers, manufacturing specialists and machinists, polishers, molding engineers and technicians, inspection staff, support services, and a management team.

ACCEDE, established in 1981, is a full-service mold maker offering high-end tooling solutions and turn-key services. ACCEDE primarily serves the medical-device, labware, and consumer packaging markets with core competencies in high cavitation two-shot, stack, and SpinStack® mold making technology. ACCEDE sells their solutions to contract manufacturers and brand owners in U.S. market, who then install and run high volume production parts off ACCEDE molds globally including Europe, China, and Mexico. ACCEDE provides full service global support of their molds. Since 2018 ACCEDE has maintained a service cooperation agreement with European family owned mold maker, KEBO AG, located in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland. With this cooperation, ACCEDE and KEBO provide their respective customers efficient and responsive regional service capabilities in both North America and Europe.

ACCEDE owner and president Roger Fox explains, “With nearly 40-years of learning, experience, and leadership in the mold making industry, ACCEDE recognizes its responsibility to give back to the plastics and manufacturing communities by investing in the industries’ workforce development.” ACCEDE has an in-house apprenticeship including Paulson Training for growing future mold makers and manufacturing professionals. Further, ACCEDE is hands-on with sponsorship and mentorship opportunities including MFG Day® and FIRST® Robotics. SPE is one of the organizations ACCEDE recognizes as key in connecting and educating the plastics community.

ACCEDE recognizes the value in sponsoring SPE as more than helping others. ACCEDE sees the benefit the SPE relationship brings to their own team by offering a variety of education and networking forums for the exchange of ideas.

“As part of our commitment to our preferred partnership with SPE, ACCEDE looks forward to exhibiting, sharing, learning, and connecting at the ANTEC 2020 event in San Antonio this upcoming Spring,” explained Camille Sackett, ACCEDE Director of Business Development and Engineering Support.
